You can increase the range of your BlueBroadcaster software by choosing a more powerful Bluetooth transmitter.

The manufacturer’s quoted ranges on dongles are based on successful Bluetooth transmissions between similar powered transmitters. As Bluetooth Marketing relies on communication between device’s that use different sized Bluetooth radio classes, i.e. class 1 and class 2, then the broadcasting range can be reduced as a result.

Upgrading to a more powerful transmitter or dongle will both increase your discovery capability and broadcasting range.

Note: If you are attempting to broadcast through building walls or car bodywork, then you should view our range of antenna’s, they ideal for broadcasting through barriers like walls or car bodywork.
